2. What the USB software collects
When Cerebro Scan is used on a computer with an active internet connection, the software sends a small anonymous status ping to our server. This includes:
• The USB serial number (e.g. CS-0001) • Operating system type and version (e.g. Windows 11) • CPU and RAM usage percentages • Approximate location (city and country only — not your precise address) • Dashboard version number • Time and date of use
The city and country information is used solely to understand where in the world our product is being used, and to provide location-aware support. It is not shared with any third party and is not linked to any personal identity.
We deliberately do NOT collect: • Your name, email, or any personal details • Your IP address • Any files, documents, or data on your computer • Passwords, browser history, or private information
This data is used only to monitor that the product is working correctly, improve the software, and push updates.
3. What our website collects
When you visit cerebroscan.co.uk we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. This collects anonymous browsing data. If you make a purchase, your name, email and delivery address are processed by Stripe. We retain order information as required by UK tax law.

We use data to process orders, send confirmation emails, maintain tax records, and monitor product health. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
